Pictures of our young children are often the ones that we treasure for many years.
Young childhood is a unique time of contented abandon and innocence, which passes too quickly.
I try to capture this tenderness and purity by taking un-posed photographs at home or any environment
where the child is at ease. I try to record the daily activities that are so special.
Where possible, I try to time the session with a meal time and play time so that the kids can carry on
with their business without being concerned about me taking photographs. Saturdays also provide a perfect
time for taking photos so that parents are around to be included in some of the pictures.
Photographs of children make perfect gifts to close friends and family, and especially grandparents!
A sure winner is a session with grandparents in the photos too.
